Welcome to the first episode dedicated to career coaching! Today I am sharing my very opinionated thoughts on resumes. As a professional speaker, author and coach, I receive many requests for assistance for career advice. I start with the resume because, in one conversation, I learn a lot about the individual. Their job history is much less important to me than discovering who you are and if you understand your brand. Resume writing in itself should be a self-discovery process. The words you choose, the examples you share, what you understand the purpose of a resume to be, it is all very important.
